USDA grant to support new training program for pesticide handlers

Washington State received $4.1 million in federal specialty crop grant funds through USDA. 24 projects were funded in Washington supporting potato, raspberry, tree fruit and many other growers. WSDA will be the lead on two projects, including one that expands farmworker pesticide education and another that will provide outreach and education to fruit and vegetable growers.
